AJAXificationalised Feb 8 2006
I really think I should spend some time hacking on some AJAX stuff, and get to grips with how it might be useful. The Dojo Toolkit looks like it might be the JavaScript library/framework I need to get started, as it seems to be an incredibly comprehensive suite of interesting stuff, that can be tailored to exactly what I might need. That, combined with this awesome article I found, seems like it’ll give me a nice framework in writing my own useful AJAX framework that I can extend for alsorts of applications. With the magic powers of rapid web application development that Ruby on Rails has recently brought me, I hope to stick something rather competent together fairly soonish. Time to get playing. On a similar note, I’ve continued my journey with Rails, and I hope to stick the second part of my experiences using Ruby and Ruby on Rails up on the ‘Vine soon.
