Updates n shit Feb 15 2006
I’ve made a few updates to the blog software that rocks this very blog, Scrawl. I fixed up some of the RPC pings it makes when a post is added or updated. That now uses the xFramework XML-RPC implementation, and so is a lot more stable, faster, and cleaner.
Coming up over the next few days, I’m working on fixing categories, so you’ll be able to filter the posts by a specific category, aswell as getting the feed for just one topic or category (if your only interested in when I jabber on about mono, for instance). Also, you may have noticed a few changes involving Technorati tags on the site. I signed up for a free account, and claimed my blog, so I don’t really have a need for the “Technorati tags” section at the bottom of the blog anymore - this will go over the next few days too. The embedded Technorati script at the bottom of the page that links back to my Technorati profile is quite clever though, so I’ll be playing with that. I’m also using features within Performancing (where I blog from nowadays) to automagically work me some Technorati tags for each individual post, which is also very cool.
Finally, I plan to finally jazz up my blog, by playing with the styles etc, and I also have a few other plans for features I want to get done. Watch this space!
